How to get website traffic is the million dollar question. The one main thing to earn any money online is to get traffic to your website, so how do we get it?

If you want to make money online then you are going to need a steady stream of traffic to your website, the more traffic you get the more money you can earn. There are plenty of people who will tell you how to get traffic to your website for a fee. Yes, you give them some money and they will give you a report or step by step guide on how to get thousands of visitors to your website. There are plenty selling software that gets visitors to your website again for a fee.

I am going to share with you the main way of getting quality visitors to your website for Free.

But first what are some of the ways that you will find out along your way, well there is social networks such as StumbleUpon and Digg. There are to many to list here, but they do work, they will bring traffic to your website but will they bring traffic that will stay and spend anytime on your website and most important of all will these visitors earn you any money. Probably not.

There is the many software packages that say they can bring in traffic, I don’t really know if they work as I have never gone down that route. I don’t believe that a software package will bring any real traffic.

You can increase traffic by submitting your website to the search engines and there are so many of them that it can take you forever ( the main ones being Google, Msn and yahoo), there are people that will provide a service to do this for you, for a fee of course. This will bring in traffic eventually.

These are just a few of the ways to get traffic to your website, but the one that counts, for me anyway, is getting ranked high in Google. The best way of doing this is by building back links to your site.

If you rank high in Google then you are going to get a steady stream of traffic day in day out, this is traffic that is searching for the information your site is offering which means that they are more likely to make you money.

If you link to a site that is a big site on Google and you have a link to your site from that big site then Google will follow that link and rank you in its results for your keyword.

A few of these sites are Ezine Articles, Go Articles or Article Alley again there are many. Now what you do is submit an article on one or all of these sites with a link back to your own website. Google follow that link through to your website and rank you in there results. The great thing is that if someone decides to publish your article on their website after reading it then your link will still be in it and you have another back link (it might not be a big authority site like Ezines, but it is still another back link). The more quality back links you get the more Google will take notice of you.

Here is an example of a few articles I have on Ezine Articles, if you click the link in the last paragraph of them you will be back here on this site ( there is no need to do that as you are already here, just take my word for it). They are quality links that Google likes and will follow. These kind of links will get you noticed and ranked with Google and bring you quality traffic on a regular basis, The best thing is that it is Free to get these good quality back links.

There are plenty of ways to get Website Traffic but this one works well for me and I know that the traffic will be good quality traffic.
