The old ones are the best, you must have heard that before, well sometimes it’s true. That is normally referred to as jokes, meaning the old jokes are the best jokes. Well here we are talking about Traffic generation.

We are going to talk about Blog Commenting or as some call it Blog Hopping, now although this is now an old method and definitely not the best method of generating traffic to your blog, it is an old favorite that will get results. You can still get traffic from this method as long as you are consistent.

You need to first off find several popular blogs within your niche subject and visit them regularly. Now apart from the fact that if they are popular blogs this means that they will have plenty of traffic, you will also find their content educational to your needs within your niche, meaning you will find useful information that you can write about on your own blog.

So once you have found these blogs, read the posts and then if you have something constructive to say leave an interesting comment with your opinion. This will not only create a link to your site ( because you have the chance to put a link in your comment with a direct route back to your blog), but if other people that read the same post like what you have contributed in your comment, they will want to find out the source of that comment and will click on your link, meaning they will visit your blog.

The success of this traffic generating method depends on how popular the blog is that you are visiting and the quality of your comment that you leave on the blog in question. But it has been for a long time and still continues to be a great solid method of generating more traffic to your own blog.

So some Old Tricks are still great tricks, so use them and get some results. The more you comment on the same blog the more well known you will become in your own right and you will certainly create some of your own followers through this method, so give it a go and make it a routine within your online business.
