Checkout The Hub

This isn’t new by any means and something that I have been meaning to create for some while now, but have been to busy. Any way I have finally got around to it and created my first Hub on Hub Pages. Find out how I got on…

In my last post I talked about Website Promotion, well this is another method of promoting your website. It is very similar to Google Knol and Squidoo Lenses, you create a page and write an article about a certain subject, your website subject would obviously be the right one. Then you can add images, video, RSS Feed and links to your site. The pages are very easy to create and there is help in how to build Hub Pages.

Be careful with the amount of links you add though as if there are to many it could get rejected, you are not allowed to promote to much so you have to be subtle. I have been very conservative with my first Hub, I have just written the article and tried to make it interesting and then added my RSS Feed and obviously there is a link to this site in my Bio section.

You can make money with Hubs or so they say, I think it would take a lot of effort to start making money with them, you would have to create a lot of them, but I guess over time it is possible. I am using it as another promotion tool for this site, so I will be creating a few more of them as and when I get the time ( if they make me some money then that’s cool).

As I said in my last post, promotion is something that you have to do a lot of especially in the beginning, I am not sure how well my new Hub will do, but it is there and ready for anyone to read, so this combined with other promotional techniques should keep the traffic flowing.
