Internet marketing Is It A MineField
I thought I would conduct an experiment this morning and become someone who was thinking about getting into Internet Marketing, whether through blogging or affiliate marketing or any other make money online routes. I wanted to find out what would come up in the searches and where it would take me.Well there are plenty of options, that is for sure, but the word frustration comes to mind. I was pretty much overwhelmed and trying to stay in the mind of somebody that is new to this business, I was faced with promise after promise of instant riches. Obviously doing this for a living, I know these promises to be false, it takes time to get established online.
It is easy to understand how so many people get sucked in and buy into products that promise a wealthy lifestyle and then end up disappointed and angry when it does not happen. I decided to take a closer look at a few of the products I was presented with, so I hand pick five different offers of riches.
The first one was a blogging course that tells you that you can be earning tens of thousands a month, the sales page is brilliant and probably converts very well, you can even trial this offer for a few bucks and then after a week it will automatically bill you the rest (about $70). I must admit I thought that what is promised in the content of this product sounded very impressive for less than 80 bucks. Until I did some digging, what it fails to tell you in any of the sales material and even when you sign up and pay your money, is that it is a monthly amount, you will be billed nearly $80 a month. With some more digging I found out that this product does not contain any new methods and that it is basically information that you can find anywhere on the Internet.
Number two and number three, which in the initial advert sounded similar to number one, which is why I checked them out to see the differences, were not much better. Number two when I did some digging was pretty much the same kind of product, but sold in a different way, it was up front about being monthly and it did not claim quite as much in the instant earning stakes. Number three was more or less identical to number one, except it was a different name and different color scheme and product design, the wording was almost the same and claimed very high earning in a matter of days. They all said they were fed up of people getting ripped off by recycled useless information.
Number four was basically (when I finally waded my way through the clever sales pitch) about banner advertising and claimed to be brand new material, you know the type “never seen before techniques” that will literally drive money to your bank account faster than a Porsche. Well after poking around on the web, I found many of the same type of info that all promise the same.
Number five was a very impressive sales page that said it was a complete new system and unheard of, no one had ever seen or released this information before, it said it was going to change how money was made on the Internet. I must admit I even got a little excited and was intrigued to find out about this system, it turned out to be a casino system, they know a system that cannot fail to generate thousands of dollars a day from gambling in an online casino. Now let me think, have I seen this one before or is it a totally new system that will change the way money is made on the Internet. I wonder!
I am not going to offer you a new system now, one that is totally amazing and will make you thousands by this time tomorrow, I am not going to tell you to buy this system that I am not offering because I am fed up with so many people getting ripped off. I am going to tell you to make sure you do your homework before you get excited by a professional sales page that draws you in and some how makes you surrender your cash.
We can all make money online, but it is just like any other business, there is no easy cash and there is no magic system that generates cash at the press of a button.
You know the systems I use and promote because they work. But there are many more that do work, just don’t get taken in with any sales page and the promise of instant earnings. Even the ones that are good systems exaggerate in this department, that is marketing I guess.
