Have you ever heard a Guru say that it is easy to make money with Google adsense, you know where they say build a blog, slap on some adsense ads and watch the money roll in. But there is something you need to know about Google adsense earning and whether it will actually happens or not, so dive in and lets find out.
How Much You Earning With Google Adsense
If you have followed that advice, then let me ask you “how much are you earning with Google adsense”, I bet the answer is not a lot. Now don’t get me wrong, adsense is a great tool and is another stream of income and we all want multiple streams of income, right!
So what is the problem then, well to create a blog with the sole aim to make money out of adsense is not going to work unless of course you do not need to earn a lot of money. Remember you are only going to be earning a few cents per click, so to earn a substantial amount of money, then you are going to need to get a lot of clicks.
This means only one thing, a lot of traffic is needed to make a decent amount of money and this is what is more often that not left out when this method of making money is mentioned.

To get traffic, especially if you are trying to get free traffic then you will need to brush up on your search engine optimization (SEO) and this means working on and Researching Keywords for your blog and using them to rank well in the search engines. This will help to bring free traffic to your blog and the more optimized keywords you have out there working for your blog, the more traffic you will get to visit your blog.

This brings me on to content, you need to fill your blog with content using your optimized keywords as your titles for your blog posts. This content should not only be rich in keywords but also good quality original content. Google and all the other search engines love good content, after all that is what they are providing for their customers, content is what they want, so content is what you can create and supply to them.
So thinking about what I said at the beginning of this post, creating a simple blog just for the sake of putting adsense ads on it is not going to make you rich, you may get a few clicks and see a few cents, but that is not bringing in the dosh.
Increase Adsense Earnings
The general rule is to repeat this many times, yes that can be done as well, but you are going to need to repeat it a hell of a lot to buy that super car you had your eye on.
It is far better to create a blog for the sake of your interest in that blog, create some great content to go on that blog, use as many SEO techniques as you can learn to optimize that blog.
Then when you get traffic starting to build and it becomes regular and increasing every month, put on those adsense ads, but don’t cram loads on and I say this for a couple of reasons.
- Google only allows three per page, if there are any more they will block them out.. and
- Who wants to see a blog full of adsense ads, your blog should be about the content you offer.
My Tip
Concentrate on your content and deliver the best you can to your readers, after all it should be about helping peoeple to understand the information they are searching for and they should get value from what you write. It is OK to monetize your blog, there is nothing wrong with that and adsense is all part of the monetization process if you want it to be.
Just don’t expect to throw up a site to make money from adsense, I don’t see it as a viable source of a stand alone income, how some make it sound. It should be looked upon as one of your streams of online income.
