2. Who wants to see a blog full of adsense ads, your blog should be about the content you offer.

My Tip

Concentrate on your content and deliver the best you can to your readers, after all it should be about helping peoeple to understand the information they are searching for and they should get value from what you write. It is OK to monetize your blog, there is nothing wrong with that and adsense is all part of the monetization process if you want it to be.

Just don’t expect to throw up a site to make money from adsense, I don’t see it as a viable source of a stand alone income, how some make it sound. It should be looked upon as one of your streams of online income.

I approached this subject because of an email I received from a reader that followed a guide on creating sites for adsense and had not earned much more than a few dollars in several months, so I thought I would write this post about the subject.

The only thing is they cannot make anything if they are not provided with any traffic, they will sit on the web idle if there are no visitors. I will say that when it comes to blogging, as your blog matures and continues to publish new posts it does tend to gather more momentum and the traffic does naturally rise over time, so if you have a blog just keep plugging away and the traffic will gradually build. It is also advisable to carry on with all the best known techniques to generate traffic as they will do just that, even if it is only a small amount of traffic.
