I have given some attention to some great programs on this blog that basically about make money by blogging. Now we know that this is a great way to make money online, but not everybody wants to blog for their money. A blog that has content added regularly will generate traffic and this is because the search engines love content, so they index that content and you get traffic from people searching what your content is about.

There are a lot of website owners that now add a blog to their sites and this is for generating traffic to their sites, so blogging is a great platform for both generating traffic and making money online.

There are some that do not want to have to keep adding so much content or to put it another way, spend the time generating content and this is a fair point as it can be time consuming. So what is the alternative to blogging and having to keep coming up with so much content.

Just the same as it is possible to build niche blogs, it is also possible to build niche websites that do not have to have ongoing content added to them. Now although at the beginning of the building process there is content to create and once the site is built, there is still some promotional content to be created, once this is all done then there is little more to do to maintain these sites.

I have built several and they are all doing pretty well, some better than others, but this is probably down to the niche of each one. I learned this process through The Niche Profit Classroom, which is a great program that uses a great template that is aimed at getting sales of your own product. Now if you are thinking, well I have not got my own product and I can’t imagine that I can ever come up with my own product, think again, it is not as hard as you may think.

You see this program teaches you how to do everything, from building the site, creating and adding content and then adding your own product into the mix. There are, some great traffic generating techniques that get your site noticed. Even hosting your sites is free and the amount of tools and material that are included in this program make your life rally easy. I have not come across such a well put together program that includes so much in it and makes it so easy to build websites than this one.

If you want an alternative to blogging and you want to get some great looking and performing websites up and running in a short space of time, then you need to seriously think about The Niche Profit Classroom, that is it there is no more to say, but go for it, I did.

It is easy to understand how so many people get sucked in and buy into products that promise a wealthy lifestyle and then end up disappointed and angry when it does not happen. I decided to take a closer look at a few of the products I was presented with, so I hand pick five different offers of riches.

The first one was a blogging course that tells you that you can be earning tens of thousands a month, the sales page is brilliant and probably converts very well, you can even trial this offer for a few bucks and then after a week it will automatically bill you the rest (about $70). I must admit I thought that what is promised in the content of this product sounded very impressive for less than 80 bucks. Until I did some digging, what it fails to tell you in any of the sales material and even when you sign up and pay your money, is that it is a monthly amount, you will be billed nearly $80 a month. With some more digging I found out that this product does not contain any new methods and that it is basically information that you can find anywhere on the Internet.

Number two and number three, which in the initial advert sounded similar to number one, which is why I checked them out to see the differences, were not much better. Number two when I did some digging was pretty much the same kind of product, but sold in a different way, it was up front about being monthly and it did not claim quite as much in the instant earning stakes. Number three was more or less identical to number one, except it was a different name and different color scheme and product design, the wording was almost the same and claimed very high earning in a matter of days. They all said they were fed up of people getting ripped off by recycled useless information.

Number four was basically (when I finally waded my way through the clever sales pitch) about banner advertising and claimed to be brand new material, you know the type “never seen before techniques” that will literally drive money to your bank account faster than a Porsche. Well after poking around on the web, I found many of the same type of info that all promise the same.

Number five was a very impressive sales page that said it was a complete new system and unheard of, no one had ever seen or released this information before, it said it was going to change how money was made on the Internet. I must admit I even got a little excited and was intrigued to find out about this system, it turned out to be a casino system, they know a system that cannot fail to generate thousands of dollars a day from gambling in an online casino. Now let me think, have I seen this one before or is it a totally new system that will change the way money is made on the Internet. I wonder!

I am not going to offer you a new system now, one that is totally amazing and will make you thousands by this time tomorrow, I am not going to tell you to buy this system that I am not offering because I am fed up with so many people getting ripped off. I am going to tell you to make sure you do your homework before you get excited by a professional sales page that draws you in and some how makes you surrender your cash.

We can all make money online, but it is just like any other business, there is no easy cash and there is no magic system that generates cash at the press of a button.

You know the systems I use and promote because they work. But there are many more that do work, just don’t get taken in with any sales page and the promise of instant earnings. Even the ones that are good systems exaggerate in this department, that is marketing I guess.

Right Here Right Now!

You are now ready to start your own online empire, but before you start you need to answer a few questions:

1. Do you know that you are capable of making money online
2. Are you prepared to work hard
3. Will you help others when you arrive at the door of success

If you answered yes to all three of these questions then you are ready and you can start.

Questions 1 and 2 are definite requirements, you have to know and believe you can make money online otherwise it won’t happen. If you have any doubts what so ever then you are putting a mental block in the way of your success. You have to know before you start that you will have to work hard because if you don’t work hard then you will not see the results.

Question 3 is not a requirement, but I believe that it should be, after all if we find success then surely we should pass it on and help others to achieve the same. My belief is that this is the true law of the universe, by helping others we will only help ourselves. There is a great feeling and uplift to helping someone else, lets be honest it makes you feel good and there is nothing better than feeling good. So before you start, say yes to question 3 and then be on the way forward.

So where exactly do you start ?  As I said in my last Post ‘ Get Rich Quick ‘ the start of your new online empire is ACTION because nothing will happen and you will not make any money online without it. Action is your first step and through Action you will have started.

I could promote any online system to you, but because I believe in question 3 I would not want to. In all the excitement and me going on about my online progress, I forgot to ask you how you are progressing. Have you taken the plunge yet or are you still skeptical or unsure. This is I think why there are so many people that jump at the chance of making money on the Internet. The concept is a dream, no having to travel to work, no boss, no timetable and the thought of working from home on a computer pulling in cash is a great idea. It is indeed and it is open to everyone and we are all capable of doing it, but the trouble is that people don’t always take the time to understand or research everything about making money online and it is not always their fault.

Yes anyone thinking of going into this industry should research and find out as much information about it as possible before jumping in on the first tempting thing they find. But there are so many great marketing techniques out there that they do suck many people in and a lot of the time these end up in bad experiences for the person who was sucked in to the program and sucked dry of their money. This is why it is worth trying to find somebody else that is in a program before you jump in and part with your money and then you can find out if the Program is Worthwhile. Having said that on the other side of the coin, there are those that buy into a program and don’t make it work, but there was nothing wrong with the Program itself, it may not have worked because that person didn’t put in the effort required to make it work.

This was the wake up call for me when I first started, I was led to believe that there was not a lot of effort needed to make money. I was doing more hours than I had ever done before and for no money at all to begin with, that is how it is in reality. All the programs out there tend to bend the time frame regarding the work involved to some extent, that is just marketing and it is done in all industries. I still do a lot of hours even though I am established online because I am still building my business. The thing I do like though is that once things start to go right, you still earn money on something you are not actually working on, something that you worked on and finished several months previous, still brings in money.

I believe that the key to making good money online is to create as many streams of income as possible, now there are those that have just one main website or blog and they make huge amounts of money, but to get to that position does not happen overnight and takes an extreme amount of hard work,although once there it is mainly only maintenance there after. So for the majority it is best to create lots of income streams, 25 small amounts of money coming in adds up to one large amount and if 2 of those streams dry up there are still 23 earning.

This is the structure behind Niche Marketing, build a lot of small sites in different niches and let them earn money. The more you build the more money it is possible to earn. Also the more you have the less each one has to earn to make up the amount you need for a full time income. Some sites may only earn a few dollars a day, but there may be a few that really take off and earn you hundreds or even thousands every day.

The basics needed to get into Niche Marketing are being able to build the sites, keyword research skills (important), writing good content and promoting for traffic generation. If a site has no traffic then there will be no money. There are many more things to know and understand but these are the basics. There are ways around writing content if you are not the type to write, but it is important to make sure the content is original as the search engines do not like duplicate content.

The key thing to remember is that it is hard work and takes effort, at the beginning anyway. There is not a system out there that does not require effort to make it work, even if the marketing does say otherwise. This is one of the most important points that I have aimed to get across with this site, it takes hard work and effort so don’t get sucked into very clever marketing that portrays the easy route to riches.

The main point is to talk about why so many people go into the make money online niche, the competition in this market is huge. There are so many other niches out there that do not have so much competition and are easier to crack. To make money online you don’t have to be in the make money online niche, any way that is for another post I have taken up to much of your time already with this post.

Now the interesting part of this story is that the guy I am talking about has gone Bankrupt, from being a multi-millionaire, he is now broke. I know this is more than interesting, it is very sad, especially for the people that had invested in his company called Passive.

Let me explain in more detail…  Andy Shaw wrote a book on how to make money buying below market value properties and then refinancing them and then renting them out and sitting on them, how it was explained in his book made the whole concept easy to understand and therefore easy for people to follow. Now you might think that it obviously did not work as he is now broke, but you would be wrong, it did work and it still does work and is a blueprint that I will continue to follow.

So why did he lose his money then? Well first off in my opinion, reading between the lines, his businesses got over complicated, I believe he got involved in to much and cash flow lost its importance. You see he basically broke one of his most important rules, that he stresses time and again in his book and that was cash flow. When the property market got hit by the recession, if he had kept to his own rule, he could have made his way through the down turn, but as it was his empire collapsed.

There are a lot more details involved in his downfall, but the bottom line is that he broke his own rule and set off an avalanche. The interesting thing about this is what Andy is going to do now, even though he fought with his creditors to give him a chance to pay his debts, there was one that did not want to play ball and made him bankrupt. So it was out of his hands and he indeed went bankrupt.

He may be down, but I don’t think he will be there for long. You see, he accepts that he made some mistakes and feels terrible for those that invested and lost money, he tried cushion their blow, by striking deals with the creditors, but the one that would not play ball did not allow that to happen. He has now shaken himself off and put a plan together, not only to again establish himself as a millionaire, but to help those that lost money to get it back.

This is the interesting part, Andy obviously had to shut down his old website, but has reset it up as something different. This time he has set up a membership site that is very cheap to join, the point of this site is to not only make money himself and help the members to make money, but also to pay back the people who invested and lost money. He is going to, in front of the new sites members make money. How cool is that, he will live out his rise back to being a millionaire in front of our eyes, we can follow his techniques as he goes along.

This is something that I have not come across before and takes a lot of guts. He knows that there are those that may not trust him or are angry with him, but he has not run away and hidden, he has faced up and is going to make amends. The reason this has a similar subject to my post Online Path is because Andy is a big believer in the law of attraction. He knows he has lost everything, but he knows that he can get it all back again.

To get established in these markets is not a different process to any other market, you will still need to build a website or blog, so that stays the same. The difference is that you have a better chance to rank higher in the search engines and therefore get traffic and traffic means the chance to make money. So the choice is to be in a big market like this one where you spend most of your time and effort in trying to get traffic or be in a less competitive market and find it easier to get the traffic needed to convert into money.

An example of a niche market is working a market down in size until you are targeting a certain part of that market. Looking at the pet market, it is a huge market. So lets take out of the pet market, dogs. Now dogs is still a huge market with a lot of competition, so lets choose one breed of dog and create a site all about that particular breed, this has narrowed that market down to a small niche.

This can be the same for many markets, the car market is the same, but narrow the niche down to one make and model of car and you are in a smaller niche. One of the best types of niche market is hobbies. Knitting, sewing, model aeroplanes, growing herbs, making greetings cards, bead working and making jewelry, the list is endless. You can take a small niche and carve out an income from supplying good quality information about it through your site.

It is easier to have Success with a small market rather than a larger competitive market, especially if you are just starting out online. The other thing to remember is to try and enter into a market that you have some knowledge of or at least have some kind of passion for, that way you are going to enjoy writing the content for your site.

Business Update:

I have been really busy with my online business, but I love it. This to me does not feel like work because I enjoy myself so much, I look forward to turning on my computer. I have finally found a job I love after all these years and am so glad that I decided to take the plunge online.

So how is it all going, well although I started 18 months ago it really wasn’t seriously until about a year ago. It has been a great journey and although I am not making multiple millions of dollars every month as some Guru’s claim, I am making good money. It started off slow with several months passing without hardly any cash, but things started to fall into place and my earnings started to kick in and have steadily risen.

I have been getting involved in more and more online projects this last couple of months and to be honest I have slightly over stretched myself, but it is slowly getting back under control. The trouble is I enjoy this work so much and there is so much more that I want to do, I tend to get ahead of myself. Still I am in the process of updating my online long term plan, so this should get me back into a more structured routine.

The point is that by using Google adsense on your Blog can bring you in money. To get an adsense account is free so it really is a no brainer. Think of it like this, say you put adsense on your Blog and you don’t earn anything from it,then you haven’t lost anything. But you will find that although you may not be able to retire on it, you will make some dosh and any extra cash is always welcome to anyone, right!

Adsense put  basically is adverts that you display for Google and in return you get a small percentage of the revenue. Now if you don’t have much traffic to your site then you probably are not going to earn very much money at all, but if you carry on creating good quality original content then you will gradually build up your traffic and this is when you will start to see your Adsense earnings begin to rise.

Although writing good original content is the best long term traffic builder there are other ways to get traffic to your site without paying for it and I will cover these as I add content to this site. There are also other ways to monetize your Blog, so stay tuned as I will try to help you succeed in your online quest to make money.

So if you have a Blog/Website then get adsense on it and concentrate on building your traffic and then enjoy making money with Google. But most of all enjoy running your Blog and helping others with your content.

By the way Adsense is not the only program that you can utilize once you have your Google account set up, there are plenty of others ways they will help make your site successful.

Do you believe that anything is possible, do you believe that you are a millionaire. Even though you may believe that anything is really possible to achieve, you might think that it is only possible for other people to achieve this, you totally believe others are millionaires, but you some how just cannot comprehend the possibility that you are capable of being a millionaire.

The Biggest Problem

That is the biggest problem and this is the biggest reason why so many people fail to become wealthy millionaires. They just cannot believe they are worthy or capable of being that wealthy person that they want to be, in fact they sabotage their own ability to become that rich person. How mad is that, you may remember the post I recently wrote about regarding this subject called Limited Beliefs and at the end I said that we need to change and that there was a clue as to how we needed to change in that post.

Well the clue was to change the way we think, it is that simple, we need to think and act differently, millionaires think like millionaires and they always have done, even when they were broke. To concentrate on lack of money will secure your lack of money, until you decide to focus on the abundance of money, you will never reverse the process. Although some may say that the content of that book is out of date, the principles remain the same and the message is clear, your life is what you think it is and the choice is yours to how you want to think.

Are You Ready For Wealth

You may even come across a successful way of making a lot of money, the trouble is are you ready for wealth, you see many people manage to accomplish a fair amount of wealth, but then lose it all. This is because they are in the wrong mindset, they are not ready for wealth, so sabotage their own success, this is why there are so many lottery winners that go through all their winnings and end up back where they started, they were not ready for that kind of wealth.

You have to completely change the way you think and the positives need to be the focus of your attention.

This process of changing the way we think can actually seem to be more complicated than it really is, but it can be a hard concept to get to grips with, many people need help at the beginning and then once they have started they can proceed on their own, others need help at the beginning and then need help to carry it on and progress to become wealthy in mind. That is the real secret right there, you have to be wealthy in mind, to truly accept real wealth into your own life.

Most of your work is maintenance, just making sure its all ticking along how it should be. This gives you the freedom to spend more time with your family or pursue that favorite hobby that you never seemed to have time for before. Now that’s what I call a dream job.

The other great thing about working online is that as long as you have a laptop and an Internet connection you can work anywhere you want to. Also you can start your online business for very little investment. Do you want to make some blogging cash? It is well known now that money can be made from a blog , it is not that difficult to do, but it is not a case of slapping a blog up on the net with a few posts and then sitting back and watching the money roll in, it does not happen without a bit of effort. You will need a clear plan of action to start with, which I know is not an easy thing to have when you may not know anything about building a blog, let alone how to make money with blogging.

The Blog Plan

There are no real limits to the amount of blogs you can build and successfully make money with, it could be said that the more you have the more money you can make. This is not always the case, there are some top bloggers that only have one main blog that gets most of there time and attention and makes them a small fortune every month.

So this can be part of your plan, is there one subject that you are passionate about and want to share your knowledge with the world. If so then that would be the first part of your plan, build that blog around some very well researched keywords and then fill it with good quality original content, regularly and then set out a strong marketing plan to get your blog ranked in the search engines and receiving a high flow of targeted organic traffic.

Don’t worry if that last paragraph didn’t make any sense, it could do in a matter of a few weeks, which brings me on to a definite must that needs to be part of your blog plan.

Yes you will need to get yourself an experienced Mentor, who will show you how to put all this together and show you in detail how every step is is executed in the right way to get your blog or blogs working for you 24/7 and making money.

You may be thinking, how on earth am I going to find a Mentor that knows what they are doing and will be willing to teach me, without costing me a small fortune.

Through a friend of mine I came across a very clever individual a few years ago and what I have learnt from him about property is amazing. His name is Andy Shaw and if you are willing to learn what he has to teach, then you can have a very wealthy road ahead.

When most people decide to buy a house or any other kind of property they normally have a deposit and then borrow the balance, which in the UK is called a Mortgage. The thing is that most people really don’t understand the mortgage fully and look at it as a debt that they want to pay off as soon as possible and as for the banks and building societies they don’t understand mortgages either, they don’t understand the product they are selling us, if they did they would change there loan criteria.

People get scared of mortgages and property, especially in the down times we are experiencing at the moment. There are all types of way to make money online and there are many niches that we can make that money in, from a niche of a large market to a micro niche of that market. Niche Markets

If we take a large market such as electrical goods and we go into this market, the chances are that we will not really make a very big impression and we will probably not make any money. How are you getting on searching for your perfect online opportunity, are you fed up with all the hype, may be you have been burnt by the hype. It is no fun for someone that makes the decision to build an online empire to be confronted with so much hype and promises of riches.

The Supercars and Yachts

I am sure you have seen the online marketers that show off their supercars and yachts, pictures and videos of them and their toys, the big house with the swimming pool and the statements of only working a couple of hours a day.

Why do they show off and shove this in our faces, is it to make us jealous or is it to just make us sign up to their program. It is a definite marketing ploy to make us sign up quickly in the hope that we will be in their position before nightfall.

It’s Automated

The totally automated system or the business in a box, well it just don’t happen like that online. You have to work an online business, yes, you can leverage an onlne business so that you are not earning for hours served. But you cannot set up something walk away and expect it to carry on making you endless amounts of money day after day.

Things change online very quickly, so you would at least have to keep tweaking your system to keep it fresh and making money.

What Is Really On Offer

When you get the luxury cars and yachts and houses thrown in your face, what are you actually getting, I mean what can they really offer you. Just because they have managed to create wealth online, does not mean that they can teach you how to do the same, yes they might have recreated their system that made them millions in a step by step format, that might cost you a pretty penny, but that does not mean that you will have the same success.

What support do they offer, can they really give you the attention you may need to make money online or do they like to take your money and then wait for you to get bored and frustrated and move on to another system and put it down to experience.

Where Is The Value

The value is in the training and support and I don’t mean a step by step format. We can all go away, do a little research and come up with a step by step course that we have not even applied ourselves, market it and make a lot of money.

The value is in the training and support, when you are not making progress, the support is to help you understand where you are going wrong and how to put it right so you start to get results. The value is in being able to reach a real person when you need help, the value is in the return on investment.

How about this one, you give me $5000 and I will teach you how to make $5000 a sale, you could make between one and twenty sales a day. Now that is serious money, I am sure you would want to make that kind of money. I could show you pictures of my many luxury cars and my massive house that overlooks the ocean.

How does my system work, well you give me 5k and I will tell you, I would have to warn you with a disclaimer that although I earn huge amounts of cash, my results are not typical and you may not see the same results, you know the kind of thing.

Any way only joking, I will tell you how the system works and by the way it is not my system, it is just something that I thought up while writing this post to show you how easy it is to get money off of people, because there would be some takers and in all fairness it could actually work, Ha Ha.

The System

You give me 5k and I will supply you with your very own landing page and then show you a few marketing techniques to get traffic to that landing page and you will be offering the exact same system, which means you will offer to tell people exactly the same as I have told you for a 5k fee. So you ask them for 5k and tell them the same.

Simple!

Simple but with no real substance and not really ethical in my mind, but I bet you there are such systems out there online, so beware of what you get sucked into, do your research and get as much background on the person or company before you part with any of your money.

I am busy online, it is a very busy game this Internet marketing and one where there is always something to do. Infact it never seems to stop and time just seems to fly by at an incredible rate. You log on in the morning have a plan of what you are going to get done and then before you have even broken the back of your days work, it is late in the afternoon.

Work 2 Hours a Day

Thats what all the adverst say right! You can make a lot of money from home on your computer by just working 2 hours a day. I must be doing something wrong or may be those adverts and the people behind them are not telling the whole truth. I will let you make your own mind up about that one.

If I were to just work a couple of hours everyday, then I would be lucky to get more than a couple of posts done for any one site. It is not just the matter of writing a blog post, you have to take the time to do keyword research and optimize that post to the full, if you don’t then it is very unlikely that it will ever get read by anyone.

Optimize Yourself

I don’t mean that you have to give yourself a make over, I mean that you must always be working on optimizing your online presence and you do this by making sure that your blogs or websites are taking full advantage of search engine optimization  (SEO) techniques.

Your site or blog is your online presence and this part of your job can keep you busy online itself, without all the other things there are that you have to get done in your working day. Probably the biggest part of optimizing your sites and the content that is on them, is to make sure that you are picking keywords or key phrases that have a good amount of daily searches and not to much competition.

SEO

There is a lot more about this subject and many more techniques that we need to implement everyday of our online career. I thought I knew a fair bit about SEO, but I am discovering that there is a lot that I don’t know or have missed, I am still learning more and more about SEO every day that I am working online.

I have read a lot of material about SEO, but have found that I have had better results with learning bits of this subject as I go along. There are things that do not seem to make much sense when you read about them or you misunderstand what they are actually saying. Then you suddenly discover something new and it clicks with something you have previously read about or you have an “Ah Ha” moment and something you did not understand becomes crystal clear.

Internet Success

So is it possible to be successful on the Internet or are you just busy online for no real gain. This comes down to how you work online really, I cannot see that anyone that decides to work just 2 hours a day will be successful online within a short time frame. This does not mean that they won’t be successful, but I think it will tak e fair amount of time.

You see working online and building a business that will provide you with the lifestyle you want, is not going to happen overnight, but it will happen.

Required Effort

An online business does require effort, the biggest point to remember is that, you may have to put in a lot of effort at the beginning with little or no gain. But there are two things that happen along the way….

1. As time goes by you begin to get better and better results, you learn more and become more experienced, you will start to see some money coming in and as your results get better your earnings grow larger.
2. The effort you put in at the beginning starts to pay off and you do not have to work as hard to maintain those results and income.

Having said that, if you want to carry on building your online business, if you are not satisfied with those results or the income level is not at the level you want it to be, then you do have to carry on putting the effort in and that is why I am still very busy online.

I want more than the position I am at right now and although I am making it work, I still have a long way to go, before I shall decide to put the brakes on a little. This is a busy game and one that takes a lot of effort, especially at the beginning.

How am I going to do that, I hear you ask, well this may not be typical or across the board in terms of everyone that starts in this business, but I know it is very common and I am one of the common. From the very first moment that I started to look into making money online, many years have passed. So you could say that it has taken me many years to make money online.

Now that does not sound very encouraging to anyone that is just starting out and it could put many people off, which is not my intention, but let me explain. The majority of those years were spent thinking about it and looking at all of my options, how will I get started, will this be the best program or may be that one will be a better option. Will I be able to do it, will the technical stuff hold me back, I just don’t know where to start. Then life would take over and I would forget about it for a few months, but then it would come back to my mind and the process would start all over again. Before I knew it several years had passed and guess what I had not made a dime online.

If I had taken action from the start I would not only of made money quicker, but I would be a lot richer than I am now, wasted years, do I have regrets? Yes, knowing what I know now I would definitely do things differently if I had my time again. I could have more than halved the time it took me to make money online, just by taking action at the beginning, instead of analyzing and debating for years.

So what about you, have you taken action yet or are you analyzing and debating, are you setting up a future regret. You can spend five years or more like I did, thinking about making money online and I can guarantee you one thing, you will not make one dime online during that time. After that time, when you finally decide to take the plunge, it might take you one month, six months or a year to start making money. Lets say you think about it for three years and then take the plunge and it then takes you six months to start making money. That is three and a half years and I can cut that down to six months if you take my advice.

I know you have already worked it out, Stop thinking about it and take action, by all means take your time and do six months research and then take the plunge and if you make money after six months, then it has taken you a year, which I am sure you will agree is better than three and a half years, which means you can more than halve the time it takes you to make money online.

How cool is that!

Right now for my serious advice, if you are thinking about it, there is a reason for that, you obviously are not happy with your current job or situation and you want to make your money online. It can be a scary prospect to go into something that you know nothing about, but you will never know anything about it, if you do not take some action. You do not have to give up your present job, you can start this in your spare time.  Start small and build on it, this way you will learn this business and may be earn some extra cash as you learn.

This is what I suggest if you are in two minds as to jump in and get wet, just start a simple blog, it will not cost you a lot. The platform for your blog (WordPress, which you can install through your host) is free, the hosting ( HostGator) will cost you under $10 per month (correct at the time of publishing this post) and a domain name will cost you around $10 per year (correct at the time of publishing this post), you then have the tools to start.You can get the information you need to get your blog set up and running by getting your free copy of my Ebook, which gives you a step by step guide, which you can get access to by clicking on the picture of the book to your right.

If you want a more in depth instructional course then you can join The Niche Blogger, this is a really comprehensive and detailed step by step guide into setting up a blog or blogs and taking them to the point of making a long term passive income. Anyway you do not have to join that course it is up to you, but at least start a blog, take action and get yourself online with a chance to start earning money. Don’t leave it festering in your mind for years and have regrets like I did, make the decision, take action and change your life now, not in five years time.

To flip a website is no different to flipping property or stocks and shares. It is basically turning over something of value for more than it has cost you. I am by no means an expert at site flipping and have so far only written a brief post Flipping Website out lining the fact that it is a way to make money online.

A Bit More Detail

So I am back to expand slightly on this great money making opportunity. The idea behind this money making platform is to either buy websites cheaply, fix them up to improve them and then sell them for a profit or you can build websites quickly and sell them. Once you know how to build a website, it does not take long to get quick at this process and it can be done in a few hours once you get good at it.

Will It Sell

My thoughts about website flipping were that if a site is not making any money, then surely it will not sell, who would want to buy a site that is not making money. Well this is not the case, there are people that are building sites and selling them before they have even had the chance to make money, I guess some people would rather buy ready made sites than build them their selves. It is what they do with the sites when they have bought them that counts.

If you decide to buy a property with the sole aim to refurbish it and then sell it for a profit, then you would either have to have the skills of a builder or hire in the professionals to do the work for you and the cost of this would come out of the sale profit.

It is no real difference to buying and selling websites or building websites and selling them on. You will need the skills to spot a gem and change that site into that gem for resale or you will need to have the skills to build a website that is optimized for a quick sale. Although these are not necessarily hard skills to learn, they need to be learned all the same.

Easy Process

The buying or building of the websites could be seen as the easy part, even making them more attractive and ready for sale could also be seen as the easy part.

What I would see as the difficult part would be the transfer of the website to the new owner, you need to know how to transfer your domain and the contents of the website with all its plugins, settings and of course content over to the new owner without losing any of it. I know from recent experience that this is not always as straight forward as it seems ==> Lost Sites <==. The one good thing that came out of that experience though is that I did learn how not to do it.

This may also involve in transferring affiliate products and of course adsense publisher ID’s, which may sound simple, but it might not be as easy as it looks on paper. There may also be the matter of transferring an email list that has been built from the site.

In My Mind

The most simple form of flipping a website in my mind, is to build a site from scratch add some good unique content and possibly one or two affiliate products and then have a detailed plan in place that you can add some other things after the sale, such as adsense and autoresponder. These can then be added from new in the new owners name, saving the trouble of more things to transfer.

In conclusion of how to flip websites as a way of making money online, I believe that it can be done as a very successful technique of attaining a lucrative online income, but as like most ways of making money online, the process and techniques involved need to be learned fully, before jumping in and making mistakes and possibly losing money in the process.
