We all know that Google Adsense is a great way to make a passive income, it is advertising basics. If you have a website that has a huge amount of traffic and you add some adsense ads to it, you are pretty much guaranteed some revenue added to your account on a daily basis. This can add up to a massive income in some cases, we have all seen the famous photo of the cheque that Jeremy from shoemoney holds in front of his face showing his adsense earnings.
Lucky guy, although I say lucky he obviously put in the work to achieve the traffic and earn the money in the first place ‘lucky guy’. So if we have a website that has an average amount of traffic then we will still earn money from adsense, but it will not be as consistent or as much as Jeremy, still all income is good money, right.
There is are other ways to make money with adsense and one that I particularly like is to add adsense to your email marketing. Now you obviously need to be building a list for this to work, but it is a good way of bumping up your adsense income and it is surprising how much you can earn from it.
The more people you have in your list the more potential money you can make. This is not just adding adsense to the emails you send out to your list, it is better than that. So here’s what you do..
Send a broadcast to your list, this means one email that is sent to your whole list. Make it a short email, just saying that you have this great article or video that would be of benefit to your subscriber, you then include a link to a private post on your website, so this is just a single page that would contain just the article or video and then you include a block of adsense. If you have a list with several thousand subscribers you are going to get a good percentage of them that will click the adsense ads.
The beauty of this method is that you are providing your list with a good article or video but at the same time setting up a surge of clicks which in turn means income for you. This can be done on a regular basis and the other good thing is that it does not matter if they leave the page through the clicking of your add block, as this is the point. Where as adsense on your website means that when someone clicks on one of the links they have left your website.
So it is worth thinking about giving this a go and as I said the bigger your list the more effective this income stream can be, give it a try.
